Although we offer many specialized treatments such as implant and cosmetic dentistry, we take special pride in our general dentistry. With lasers we can effectively treat gum disease, cavities, and other dental procedures. The Periolase and our diode lasers allow us to treat gum disease and perform gum surgeries without using painful scalpels and requiring stitches. With the Waterlase many cavities can be filled without having to get shots and without having to have your tooth drilled on!

We also have the latest in technologies for oral cancer screening including the VELscope. With this scope, we can often see premalignant tissue in the oral cavity which allows us to see things that other offices can not. While most of our clients will never have oral cancer, it’s assuring to know that we do actively screen all our clients and continually do so over the years.

The CEREC machine allows us to do crowns, inlays and onlays in one visit which helps you avoid extra visits to the office. And because the porcelain is specially designed to closely match your own enamel, it’s one of the best materials for restoring your tooth.

Our digital x-rays not only allow us to use significantly less radiation but also helps make us more efficient. There are special tools which help us diagnose problems more effectively using digital radiography. Instead of waiting around for x-rays to be developed, they appear instantly on a computer screen so that everybody in the room can examine them together.

And we have intra-oral cameras which allow you to see what we do. Believe it our not, most problems that we find are clearly visible to us but not to the client. The intra-oral cameras will allow you better understand the existing conditions and give you peace of mind with our diagnoses.

Although we have the latest that technology offers, our goal is still to prevent problems before they occur. With the most advanced decay fighting tools, we work together with our clients to make sure they armed with the very best preventative tools at home. We now know how important the natural acidity in our mouths plays a part in tooth decay. With the Carifree line of products we can now actively treat the pH imbalances in our mouths to decrease our susceptibility to cavities. Power toothbrushes, special flossing instruments, fluoride trays, sealants, nightguards, snore guards are just some of the special tools we can give you to help prevent problems before they occur.
