Invisible Orthodontics

Technology has allowed us to do orthodontics without the traditional wires and brackets. Now with the advent of clear aligners, it’s possible to get your teeth straightened without anybody knowing it. We can use a series of clear aligners that each move your teeth in small increments until the teeth are where we want them to be. It’s easier and often times more comfortable than traditional orthodontics.

Using clear aligners will work without intruding into your day to day life. You wear your aligners all day long but because they’re easy to remove, you can still have that snack or mint you’ve been craving and still brush and floss normally. With traditional orthodontics, certain foods are a nightmare to clean and flossing is extremely tedious and difficult.

The clear aligners are so invisible, you usually have to tell people you’re wearing them. Otherwise they’ll probably never notice. And they’re so comfortable that soon you may not even realize you’re wearing them. And the follow up visits are quick and easy. You come in for a quick check every four to six weeks so Dr. Kim can see the progress and give you your next set of trays.

The aligners can be used to straighten your teeth whether they’re spaced or crowded. It can correct teeth that are turned or rotated. There are no age requirements as long as all the adult teeth have erupted.
