Creating Beautiful Smiles

Teeth Whitening in Riverside and Inland Empire

Even with good hygiene habits, you can be susceptible to tooth discoloration if you like to enjoy a regular cup of coffee or glass of red wine. Yellowing or brown teeth can significantly age your appearance and rob you of an outstanding smile. We don’t want your teeth to just be healthy; we want them to be radiant as well. Our teeth whitening options can help you achieve the beautiful smile of your dreams.

Bleaching

Bleaching

The process of bleaching reverses the discoloration of enamel. Bleaching uses hydrogen peroxide and carbamide peroxide to break down stains, making their color less concentrated. This process leaves your teeth looking whiter and brighter.

At-Home Whitening

At-Home Whitening

At-home whitening allows you to bleach your teeth in privacy. Whitening strips or trays are both effective and easy to use. We offer custom-fitted bleaching trays that are made in the office to ensure that they fit your teeth comfortably. The 22 percent bleach is used for 60 minutes once or twice a day or overnight for eight hours. The 35 percent bleach is used 15 minutes twice a day or 30 minutes once a day. You should not wear this percentage overnight. At-home teeth whitening is typically completed after two weeks.

In-Office Whitening

In-Office Whitening

In-office, dentist-supervised teeth whitening using Venus White® Max Whitening System provides a more powerful teeth whitening experience. The chemically activated whitening gel is applied to your teeth by your dentist. The whitening process takes about two hours to complete and you will be provided with six bleach syringes and upper and lower trays to take home to continue treatment. Most patients continue their at-home treatment for two weeks.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is teeth whitening covered by my insurance?
A. Teeth whitening isn’t typically covered by insurance because it is considered a cosmetic procedure.
Does teeth whitening cause tooth sensitivity?
A. Some patients experience increased tooth sensitivity immediately following their whitening treatment. This is only temporary and will be less noticeable over time.
How can I preserve the results of my teeth whitening?
A. It is recommended that you avoid stain causing foods, drinks, and habits. Avoid coffee, soda, and red wine. We also advise that people quit smoking for the health of your teeth, in addition to the cosmetic benefits. Thorough oral hygiene is also important for maintaining whitening results.
