For those who have a fear of dentistry, Dr. Kim also offers sedation dentistry. This typically entails providing the patient with a sedative prior to his/her appointment in order to allow the patient to sleep during the procedure. Some patients may receive nitrous oxide or an intravenous sedative once at our facility. In either situation, it is highly recommended that the patient have someone drive him/her to and from the office.
